The first few months of a dog’s life are the most crucial to lifelong success, so it’s important to fill that time with positive experiences! Socializing a puppy early is critical, and we have a controlled environment where your puppy can both make some new friends and learn foundational skills in a supervised setting. We have two options on our Puppy Path:

  • Our Training Wheels playgroups are for puppies 10 weeks to 18 weeks old, and parents are welcome (and encouraged!) to attend the playgroup with their dog.

Either our owner/trainer Rachel or a senior staff member will be on hand to supervise your playgroup session, and can answer any questions you may have, or give you tips or advice on raising the best puppy possible.

In addition to setting your puppy up for future success, we also, of course, have a lot of fun! We have a ball pit, Kongs and other puppy-safe chew toys, and an outdoor yard where your dog can romp around with their new friends.

Each session is one hour long, and the fee is $30.

  • Our Learner’s Permit program is for puppies aged 19 weeks to 9 months, and it’s a chance for puppies to move from indoor playgroups to our outdoor yards! Parents take their hands off the wheel for this one and do not attend, so it’s also a great opportunity for the start of some independence training and confidence building.

  • A senior staff member will monitor small play sessions built specifically around the comfort level, size and temperament of your dog. We will either group other Learner’s Permit pups together, or thoughtfully choose a small group of dogs from our daycare/boarding groups to create a safe socialization opportunity.

Each session is two hours long, and the fee is $30.

If you’d like more information before you decide if this is the right fit for you, please either fill out our contact form, send us an email, or give us a call or text at 541-726-8435, and a staff member will be in touch shortly.

On the other hand, if you’d like to get started as soon as possible, please fill out our Puppy Path form, and we can get you set up for your first session.

You can start as soon as your puppy has completed their second round of shots and obtained a recent negative fecal result!
