We are approximately 13 miles southeast of Eugene. Take I-5 to Exit 188 (OR-58, to Oakridge). Proceed about 7 miles on OR-58 (Willamette Hwy).Turn right into the driveway then immediately bear left (ignore the "No Trespassing" signs!) and follow this gravel road all the way down until you see another gate with an Opportunity Barks sign. Once you pass through that gate, drive past the house on your left and head to the second building with the red door.

Our goal is to help your dog have a ton of fun and be successful here! But not all dogs are ready to be a part of playgroups or overnights, so we cannot make any guarantees about your dog’s success during our initial trial process.
Some dogs have separation anxiety, are extremely fearful, may have issues with reactivity, excessive barking, inadequate recall, not listening to other dogs or staff, playing way too rough…these are some reasons why a dog might not initially be accepted into daycare or as a boarder.
Because we can’t guarantee success, we always advise people to have a backup plan! In case things don’t work out here, we’d hate for anyone to be scrambling last minute to find alternate care, or have to cancel a trip.
Sometimes dogs who aren’t initially ready can get more comfortable or behaviorally appropriate with repeated visits, anxiety medication or training, and we always work with dogs and clients to utilize every resource at our disposal to set your dog up for success!

The first step in the process is an evaluation, which is a 20-30 minute meeting with you and your dog. We go over your dog’s history and personality, answer any questions you might have, and then show you around the facility. If you just to come just for a tour without your dog to check us out, we’d love to show you around!
In order to set up an evaluation, your dog must have current Rabies, Bordetella and DHPP vaccines, as well as proof of a recent negative fecal exam conducted within the last three weeks.
After the initial evaluation, we require at least one half day of daycare (your dog might need multiple half day visits if they have issues with separation anxiety or fear).
If they pass the half day, then they can progress to a full day! (Same as with the trial half day, dogs might need multiple full days if anxiety or fear is an issue.) If you’re just interested in daycare, then after your dog passes their full day, they are more than welcome to join our daycare groups.
If your dog passes their full day and you’d like to continue the process for boarding, we have them come for a trial overnight, just to make sure they can handle being here an entire day and night without issue.
If everything goes well, your dog can then come for daycare and/or boarding whenever you’d like!
