CHOOSE YOUR ADVENTURE:
Option A:
Central Location: $25 per dog, one way
We have you meet us at a designated time at a specific location, and then load the dogs from there!
This option allows us to spend less time driving and more time earning what we hope is a 5 Star Review from our Canine Commuters
Option B:
In-Home: $35 per dog, one way + $50 one-time consultation fee
If a central location won’t work for you, we also have an in-home option!
This includes an initial consultation where we meet up at your place to discuss logistics and safety, as well as obtain what we need to access to your home in the future (gate code, door code, hide-a-key location…).
(Please Note: This option requires clients grant us access to their homes and permission to enter their homes during their absence)
Your Questions, Answered
-
Before we’re officially ready to brave the open road absolutely covered in dog hair, we’re looking to gather a small group of dogs to work out the kinks, test out the treats, and make sure everything is safe and efficient!
We want to make sure we shore up client communication, protocol and employee training before we officially open up the shuttle service to everyone (so only the coolest clients get first dibs, of course)
-
Your dog has to be approved for daycare (meaning they’ve passed at least one trial half day and one trial full day) and have not shown discomfort with being in the van. After that, it’s wheels up!
Also, another important membership requirements during our soft launch is honesty! We really value feedback for so we can make the tweaks necessary to provide the best service possible.
-
We’re currently running the bus two days a week during this trial run, weekdays only. Depending on how the soft launch goes, we might add more days, we’ll see!
-
Our morning window is from 8:00 to 9:30am, and our afternoon window is from 4:30 to 6:00pm (we are able to pick-up and drop-off during both of those windows!)
-
Please give us a call or text at 541-726-8435. As we have limited capacity and only plan to run for two days a week, we cannot guarantee we can always approve a request (we encourage people to get on a recurring schedule to have a guaranteed spot!)

You are in luck! Here is our Barks Bus Policy Page that we hope strikes the right balance of informative and boring for you :)

Your Questions, Answered!
-
Well, yes and no! No, you don’t have to currently be an active client in order to contact us about the van. But your dog does have to pass our orientation process, as van approval is contingent on your dog being approved for daycare or boarding
-
Start by filling out our Barks Bus Contact Form, and a staff member will be in touch to discuss next steps!
In order to be eligible for the Barks Bus service, your dog will need to successfully pass our orientation process (an evaluation, half day and full day). Van approval is dependent on your dog’s success in our daycare program, as only daycare-approved dogs can become Canine Commuters!
