OPPORTUNITY BARKS provides your dog with a safe and healthy play environment to enrich their spirit, increase their social skills, exercise their body and stimulate their mind. We provide you with peace of mind by supervising your dog 100% of the time while your dog plays, exercises, socializes and even naps with their canine pals.

One Day a Week, Minimum Commitment
At OPPORTUNITY BARKS we provide the best environment for your dog to socialize and feel safe. Our playful environment is a result of dogs getting to know each other during repeated visits. This occurs by reducing the stress of meeting new and unfamiliar dogs every day, no different from the increased comfort you feel once you become familiar with new friends. To ensure this, we ask that you make an initial 8-week commitment to the same days each week. This helps with scheduling and increases the dog’s comfort level with their dog buddies.
Daycare Overview
Your dog can be dropped off at our training and daycare facility between 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. and picked up between 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Daycare dogs who are not picked up by 6:30 p.m. and not scheduled to board overnight will be required to stay the night and be charged the boarding rate for that day. If you need an earlier drop off or later pick up, please let us know. We will always try to accommodate you.
Our training and daycare facility offers over 2,200 square feet of indoor and outdoor play space. The indoor space is equipped with ¾” Tenderfoot flooring for cushioning your dog’s playing. The facility is also equipped with central heating and air conditioning.
Your dog’s day will consist of supervised play on agility equipment, jumping in and out of cool pools of water (during warm weather), or just running around with friends and playing with our staff and fun toys. Each dog gets a weekly report card.
Your Dog’s First Day
Your dog needs to be dropped off first thing in the morning as their day starts at 7:45 a.m. In the afternoon, we ask that new dogs be the first ones to be picked up (to reduce the stress of seeing other dogs leave first), between 3:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Prerequisites
Before your dog comes to play, 4 steps need to be completed:
1. Fill out and submit an Online Registration Form to set up a temperament evaluation of your dog.
2. After receiving the form, we will contact you in 1-3 days to make an evaluation appointment.
3. Come in with your dog for an initial consultation. We will perform a temperament evaluation of your dog at that time. The initial consultation requires a one-time fee of $20.
4. Bring a copy of your dog’s records of vaccination and fecal test.
Day Camper Requirements
- Your dog must pass our temperament evaluation.
- Your dog must be in their current home for at least one month.
- Your dog must be at least 4 months old.
- Your dog must be spayed or neutered. (All puppies must be altered by 6 months of age.)
- Your dog must be people and dog friendly.
- You must provide proof from your dog's vet of a negative fecal test as well as current Distemper/Parvo combo, Rabies and Bordetella (Canine Cough) vaccinations. We also accept titers.
- All dogs MUST be on leash when brought to OPPORTUNITY BARKS.
Daycare Rates
- Initial consultation - $20 (one-time fee)
- $25 per day/1 day per week minimum
